Today is an important day for the money markets in the United Kingdom.
With its initial release in April 2017, the UK Money Markets Code has proven to be a valuable set of standards and best practices for the activities in these markets by UK Market Participants.
To ensure that the Code remains relevant and up to date as markets evolve, the UK’s Money Markets Committee undertook a review of its content and the resulting revised version of the Code has been published today on the Bank of England website.
