²ÝÝ®tv Singapore celebrated its 26th Anniversary of Charity Golf & Gala Dinner 2019.
The Charity Golf event was held on 4 July at Sentosa Golf Club, The Serapong and was participated by about 160 golfers. The Charity Gala Dinner was held on 12 July at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Grand Ballroom and was attended by about 550 guests. The Guest of Honour for the gala dinner event was Singapore’s Senior Minister and Co-ordinating Minister for Social Policies, and Chairman of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam.
The 2-days Charity Golf & Gala Dinner event for this year raised $960,000 in gross donations, well surpassing the amounts raised in recent years. The funds raised will be disbursed to the 11 Charities, and this will go a long way in helping the less fortunate in society and will go towards supporting the arts, under-resourced youths and greater healthcare accessibility for the underprivileged. With the help of 32 institutions and many individuals who had participated in this, it is certainly the most inclusive Financial Markets event that all ²ÝÝ®tv Singapore members can look forward to every year.
