The ��ݮtv FMA Management Board is pleased to confirm the appointment of Anne-Maria Rothenstein as the new Chair of the ��ݮtv FMA Regulatory Working Group (RWG).

Anne-Maria Rothenstein has chaired the RWG on an interim basis for a short period and has previously been the RWG Vice-Chair.

��ݮtv FMA has submitted a Public Comment on IOSCO’s Consultation Report on Policy Recommendations for Crypto and Digital Asset Markets.

Due to the vast experience and the work that has been developed by its Digital Assets Committee (DAC) and its Regulatory Working Group (RWG) since their formulation, ��ݮtv FMA shared its feedback on the Consultation Report on Policy Recommendations for Crypto and Digital Asset Markets.

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Roy Daniels has been re-elected ��ݮtv FMA Africa President by the Africa National Associations.

The ��ݮtv FMA Africa President will serve a term of three years on the ��ݮtv FMA Management Board.

Mr. Roy Daniels has been in the banking industry for the past 30 years, in markets for 20 years (including 12 years at Rand Merchant Bank as Head of Africa Trading Global Markets), and has been part of the ��ݮtv South Africa committee for 12 years.

Launch of the Global Cryptoasset Standards

We are pleased to inform you that, today, the Global Cryptoasset Standards have been launched by GBBC Digital Finance (GDF).

The Standards are a code of conduct for financial institutions engaging in intermediation activities such as brokerage, custody, and settlement of cryptoassets like bitcoin and Ethereum.
