Please read more about the recent ELAC developments, related to the updated version of the FX Global Code.

²ÝÝ®tv FMA is happy to inform you that the updated version of the FX Global Code, published by the Global Foreign Exchange Committee (GFXC) on 15th July 2021, is now available in our ELAC platform, for E-Learning, Attestation and Certification on industry Codes, where related content has also been updated in line with this version.

Our Association welcomes the publication of this updated version that resulted from months of intense work by the members of the GFXC. ²ÝÝ®tv FMA believes that the changes now applied to the FX Global Code, together with the publication of additional information that supports this version, will help all Market Participants to keep developing the industry’s efforts that aim to achieve a more robust, fair, liquid, open and appropriately transparent FX Market.

To support those efforts, we believe that Market Participants should be provided with ongoing training and testing on the principles of the Code. With that purpose in mind, ²ÝÝ®tv FMA undertook a comprehensive review of all Cases and Questions, included in ELAC as e-learning material for the FX Global Code, and has now published that updated content in the platform.

From now on, current and future users will be able to learn and assess their knowledge of the principles outlined in the updated version of the FX Global Code in our ELAC platform, as they continue to be the global guidelines for good market practices, as well as for the highest ethical and professional standards of conduct, in the FX Market. Please do not hesitate to consult ²ÝÝ®tv FMA regarding the recent developments on ELAC and/or to request additional information about the platform.
